• Employers: business / employer name; contact person; email; phone; address; company profile; job postings; hiring needs, etc

• Device identifiers; device model; operating system; IP address; app version; mobile carrier.
• Log-data: time and date of accesses; pages/screens visited; features used; crash reports; performance metrics.

c. Location Information

• Approximate location data (if you allow it) to help match local job opportunities and talents.
• General location (city, region) from IP address or profile data.

d. Chat Communications

• Messages exchanged between job seekers and employers.
• Metadata: timestamps; sender/receiver IDs; message status (sent, delivered, read).

e. Other Information

• Search queries; behaviour patterns; preferences indicated by you.
• Optional information you choose to provide (e.g. profile picture; portfolio, certificates).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match job seekers with relevant employer postings in nearby areas.
• To facilitate chat communications between job seekers and employers.

3. Sharing & Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Basic profile info (name, photo, summary, location, skills) is shared with employers/job seekers during matching. Chat messages are shared only between the participants.
• Service Providers / Third Parties: We may engage third‐party vendors (e.g. hosting, analytics, push notifications, payment processors) who may access the data needed to perform their services.
• Legal & Safety Reasons: To comply with courts, laws, regulations; to protect rights or safety of us, our users, or third parties.
• Business Transfers: If HiBOSS is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or financing, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, under confidentiality.
• With Your Consent: We may share or disclose other uses with your consent.

4. Data Retention

• We retain your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy, or as required by law.
• We may retain usage, account, and profile data for a period after account deletion to comply with legal obligations, dispute resolution, or to prevent fraud.

12. Use of Gender Data

We need gender data to create an AI avatar as profile picture in the future. Moreover, it helps us in better job & talent recommendation. For example, a female makeup artist job opening with no experience required.
