1. About HiBOSS

HiBOSS is a direct hiring and job marketplace that allows:

• Job seekers ("Talents") to discover nearby job opportunities, chat directly with employers, and apply for roles.
• Employers or hiring managers ("Bosses") to post jobs, discover suitable candidates, and communicate directly with them.

HiBOSS provides a platform for connection only. We do not guarantee employment, hiring, or performance outcomes.

2. Eligibility

To use HiBOSS:

• You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal working age in your jurisdiction).
• You must have the authority to enter into a binding agreement.
• You must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information.
• You agree not to use HiBOSS for unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes.
• HiBOSS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

3. Account Registration

• You must create an account using your valid mobile number
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• You agree to notify HiBOSS immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
• HiBOSS is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Services Provided

HiBOSS allows users to:

• Create and manage profiles (job seeker or employer).
• Discover local jobs or candidates using AI-based or proximity-based matching.
• Chat directly with employers or job seekers.
• Post, browse, and apply to job opportunities.
• Receive recommendations, alerts, or promotional offers.

HiBOSS may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature without prior notice.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information (e.g., fake jobs or fake profiles).
• Harass, spam, or abuse other users.
• Share obscene, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access HiBOSS data.
• Violate any applicable laws (e.g., labour, data protection, or employment regulations).
• Impersonate another person or organization.

6. Job Postings & Applications

• Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of their job postings.
• HiBOSS does not verify every posting or guarantee job availability.
• Job seekers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their resumes, skills, and communication.
• HiBOSS is not responsible for any hiring decision, interview outcome, or job offer.

7. Communication Between Users

• The in-app chat is provided to facilitate direct communication between job seekers and employers.
• Users must maintain professionalism and avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information.
• HiBOSS may monitor or review messages to prevent misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
• Users are prohibited from sending promotional, irrelevant, or harassing content.

8. Payments (If Applicable)

If HiBOSS introduces paid features such as premium job visibility, pay-per-interview, or subscription services:

• Fees and pricing will be displayed within the app.
• All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
• Taxes or platform fees (if any) are borne by the user.
• HiBOSS reserves the right to change pricing or billing methods with notice.

9. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., resume, job post, messages).
• By posting on HiBOSS, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for operating the platform.
• HiBOSS retains ownership of all app design, code, trademarks, branding, and intellectual property.
• Unauthorized use of HiBOSS's intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

• Your use of HiBOSS is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
• By using HiBOSS, you consent to such collection and use as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

• HiBOSS is a platform — we do not employ users, guarantee job offers, or verify every user's identity.
• All interactions, applications, and communications between users occur at their own risk.
• HiBOSS disclaims all liability arising from user actions, hiring decisions, or content posted on the platform.
• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• HiBOSS, its founders, team, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
  • Use or inability to use the Service.
  • Loss of employment, opportunity, or data.
  • Unauthorized access or alteration of user content.
• HiBOSS's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the past 6 months.

13. Termination

HiBOSS may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:

• You breach these Terms or applicable laws.
• You misuse or abuse the platform.
• You post or communicate harmful, illegal, or misleading content.

You may terminate your account anytime by deleting your profile from the app.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

15. Changes to Terms

• HiBOSS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
• Updated Terms will be posted in the app or website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Account Deletion

If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, please contact us through:

Upon receiving your request, we will process the deletion within a reasonable timeframe and notify you once completed. Please note that some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
